Exams for private / external candidates

We can accept external candidates for most exams (but not Cambridge International).

For Science A Levels and GCSEs we can only offer RETAKES with the practical component marks carried forward.

We recommend candidates taking GCSE Sciences for the first time to take Pearsons I-GCSEs as no practicals are involved.

We can only assess and submit NEA components for our tuition students, not for private candidates.

We can only conduct languages oral examinations for some languages, please email us to confirm if we can offer the language you need before submitting your entry.

'I want to thank you for the professional way you arranged and conducted my GCE exams. As a private candidate, I was unsure how stressful it would be to take exams in an unfamiliar environment. I needn't have worried, because everything was undertaken professionally and efficiently, leaving me feeling relaxed about the process. Many thanks to all concerned and I would happily recommend your services.'
Miss L.D. Salisbury

'Thank you very much for all your help over the past year and your 'steady hand on the tiller'. Your tutors have, without exception, been excellent and have gone above and beyond the call of duty.'
Mr P Basingstoke

'My enormous thanks to your tutors who delivered 100%, giving confidence to a student who, despite appearances, has been lacking academic chuzpah. He simply loved all his lessons and came home much happier and more confident. He went into his exams cool, calm and prepared and we are delighted with the results.'
Mrs E.R. Michelmersh

'How immensely proud I am of my son on receiving his examination results and gaining his place at the university of his choice - Exeter. I would like to thank you and your tutors for all the support and guidance given over this past academic year. It has been the correct choice for my son to join Wessex Tutors.'
